This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:6-7
Because we are a generation of technology and money, most can relate to terms such as money market, stocks, automatic teller machines, credit cards, debit cards, online transfers, etc. Just imagine the issuance of a debit card to every human with access to unlimited funds from an account called "Grace." Grace was made available through the Son, Jesus, and the owner of the account is the “I Am.”
Some of us have enough faith to go to the ATM and withdraw from that account. When we receive the money that we requested, we are immediately given the cash in our hands, and God adds our name to His account as joint heirs. Any time we so desire, we can go to the account to withdraw unlimited amounts of money.
Some people will withdraw much, some just a little to test the water of the account's viability. Some people will hold onto the debit card to save it for a rainy day. Some will put it in their pocket and forget that they even have it. Some are blind to the fact that they own a debit card. Some will try to gain access to this account with a fake card.
So what should we do for all the people who have the grace-debit card and never use it? We show them, especially those who financially suffer and those who endeavor entry by another means. We can illustrate the benefits of using the card and reveal that any other card is counterfeit. We can point people to their card of infinite worth; however, we can't force them to use it.
Now we know in reality that there is no debit card and no cash; however, there is this fund of grace in which each person is allowed. God's market has unlimited amounts of blessings of peace, hope, love, forgiveness, mercy, strength, and assurance. His market never decreases but grows much like interest on a savings account or an ever-rising stock market. Jesus gave Himself to open this account to every human. You can show the world an invaluable benefit by tapping into God's funds, but in the end, you must trust God to be fair and just with all transactions.
Dear Lord, Help me to show others your unlimited bank account of blessings through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
